I write. I quilt. I cook. I take photographs. What else is there?

My little flower quilt is done!  WooHoo!  It's hanging on an slanted ceiling. Guess I'll have to make a wood frame for it or something. Isn't it pretty, though?

Look at the little poofy butterfly I fussy cut in the bottom picture.

The background for this quilt was made with genuine 60s and 70s fabrics using a Katharine Guerrier pattern. The applique is fused, top-stitched with rayon thread to give it a sparkle.

A Finish!

Finished quilting Mom's Log Cabin. I'm not going to say how long it's been that I've had it, but if you search through my archives, you'll go back LOTS of pages. She has it now, putting the binding on, so I can share pics here. I guess I didn't get pics of the quilt as a whole, so when she posts one, I'll put it on here, too.

Quilting this one now. McTavishing, 45 minutes at a time:

And Now These!

Look what came in the mail NOW!  My writers' group, Breathe, puts out an anthology every year.  This is this year's, our best ever!  I'm just over the moon, between it and the poetry book.  Now to schedule some signings.

Thanks for Visiting! Come Back Soon!
